What is HTMA?+
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis is a laboratory measurement of selected mineral and trace-element levels in a properly collected hair sample. Faith & Minerals uses the report as an educational nutritional screening resource. It is not used as a stand-alone medical diagnosis.
Which service should I choose?+
Choose HTMA Profile 2 when you need a new laboratory test and collection kit. Choose Existing HTMA Report Review when you already have a complete report and want help understanding its major findings.
Can HTMA diagnose a disease?+
No. HTMA does not by itself diagnose a disease, determine the cause of symptoms, or replace medical assessment. Findings must be interpreted cautiously alongside the person’s history, sample quality, exposures, and other relevant information.
Who provides the laboratory report and educational interpretation?+
Trace Elements, Inc. performs the laboratory analysis and provides the laboratory report materials. Faith & Minerals Wellness provides an independent educational interpretation and wellness-oriented guidance; it does not provide a medical diagnosis or treatment.
Can chemically treated hair be submitted?+
Chemical treatment can affect sample suitability. Clients whose hair has been dyed, bleached, permed, straightened, relaxed, or otherwise chemically treated should review the collection instructions and contact Faith & Minerals before collecting the sample.
How long does Profile 2 processing take?+
Processing times vary. Most reports are generally available approximately two to three weeks after the laboratory receives and accepts an adequate sample. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed completion date.
Can I cancel or request a refund?+
Refund eligibility depends on the stage of fulfilment. Before a Profile 2 kit ships, cancellation is eligible for a full refund. After shipment, laboratory submission, educational interpretation, secure delivery, or consultation, completed portions may be non-refundable. Email info@faithandminerals.com with your name, purchase email, order number if available, and reason for the request.
What if my sample cannot be accepted?+
Laboratory acceptance depends on the specimen meeting laboratory requirements. If the laboratory reports that a sample is insufficient, contaminated, unusable, or otherwise unacceptable, Faith & Minerals will contact you with available next steps. Replacement materials, shipping, repeat laboratory fees, or refund treatment depend on the circumstances and applicable costs.
What are the shipping and international-order terms?+
Standard U.S. Profile 2 kit shipping is included. Kits are normally prepared within two business days after intake and mailing details are confirmed; this is not a delivery guarantee. International orders require advance confirmation before purchase. Contact info@faithandminerals.com before placing an international order.
How will I receive my documents?+
Faith & Minerals provides secure delivery instructions when the report and written interpretation are ready. Sensitive documents should not be submitted through the public contact form.
Can I email my existing report through the contact page?+
No. The public contact page is not intended for laboratory reports, medication lists, dates of birth, or detailed health information. A private upload method is supplied as part of the review workflow when available.
Will I be told to change my medication?+
No prescription medication should be started, stopped, or changed based on an HTMA report or educational consultation without speaking with the prescribing clinician.
